Why Service It If It’s Running Fine? And that’s a “MYTH”!
So is the million-dollar question, right?
“My car runs great — why spend money on service I don’t need?”
Here’s the truth: Lack of proper maintenance doesn’t stop your car from starting… it just slowly kills performance, handling, acceleration, and fuel economy and wears out your vehicle’s components sooner.
You might not feel it at first — it still starts and drives — but you’re quietly burning money:
- Worse gas mileage (extra $50-100/month adds up fast)
- Sluggish response and poor handling
- Small issues turning into big, expensive repairs later
It’s like skipping doctor checkups because you “feel fine” — until something serious shows up.
Myth: “But i get oil&filter changed, that does it all”
busted! big time: oil & filter changes even if on schedule it just keeps the engine inner components in shape (that is providing the right type of oil is used) the many other components are suffering unseen by you, they may operated well (for a while) but negleting them, they’ll call you only when they’re about to go.
